Role

Yavapai County is seeking applicants for the position of Section Manager within our Community Health Services department. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics and be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Additionally, a minimum of five years of experience working with the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is preferred.

The successful candidate will operate under general direction, overseeing various programs, supervising both professional and support staff, and serving as the point of contact for all programs, projects and budgets within the assigned section.
Sections to include: Finance and Operations, Public Health Protection, Family Health & Wellness, Nutrition and Community Health Education.

Major Duties, Responsibilities



Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's Degree.
Degree field:
Public Health related.

An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year per year basis.

Experience:
Three (3) years of professional work experience in a section related field of practice or study with at least two (2) years of supervisory responsibilities and duties.
Additional Requirements:
Must possess or be eligible for a valid AZ driver’s license.Must possess a current fingerprint clearance card Issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
