Electronic Gaming Device Specialist

The Electronic Gaming Device Division exists to handle growing technological advancements in Missouri Casinos. This entry-level position involves professional and specialized work to ensure the integrity and compliance of gaming equipment. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Electronic Gaming Device Coordinator; however, the employee shall exercise independent judgment and initiative in the performance of assigned responsibilities.
What you'll do:
Verify, secure, test, monitor, conduct on-site inspections and follow-up assessments of new, upgraded and/or existing electronic gaming devices (e.g. slot machines), casino gaming systems, and other gaming related hardware and software to ensure integrity, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures, policies, rules, and regulations, and/or detect malfunctions.
Review and investigate technical incident reports utilizing advanced diagnostic procedures when necessary.
Perform investigations to assist in resolving patron disputes and formal complaints.
Enforce Missouri rules and regulations and perform detailed technical and regulatory investigations.
Analyze statistical performance and variance reports.
Document electronic gaming device hardware and software database information within the statewide inventory tracking and approval system and participate in resolution, planning and administering changes thereto.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 credit hours in Computer Management Information Systems, Electronics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field and one year of relevant experience is preferred. (Relevant professional experience may be substituted for education.)
Must be able to sit/stand for long periods and ability to bend, reach, twist, push/pull.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong PC skills are important. Must be able to use Microsoft applications.
