What You'll Do: - Lead the Talent Acquisition Process: Independently manage the entire recruitment cycle, from assisting in identifying hiring needs to onboarding new hires.
- Collaborate and Consult: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide expert advice on recruitment strategies.
- Source Top Talent: Utilize a variety of channels, including networking, online platforms, and career fairs, to find and attract highly qualified candidates.

Position Information - This is a full-time, permanent/probationary, offering comprehensive benefits.
- Position is designated exempt under FLSA and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
- Standard SDSU work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but may vary based on operational needs.
- This position is approved for partial telecommuting with onsite work in San Diego.

Education and Experience A basic foundation of knowledge of the principles of organization, administration and management; and the ability to analyze and find solutions to problems, work independently, communicate effectively, and write clear and concise reports. Some positions may require a basic knowledge of research techniques and statistical methods.
This would normally be demonstrated by a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of Human Resources experience OR any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Key Qualifications - Exceptional customer service skills and a focus on continuous improvement .
- Skill in researching, analyzing, developing, and evaluating human resource programs.
- Skill in organizing, tracking and prioritizing assignments and tasks.
- Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Experience conducting full-cycle recruitments.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Experience with Internet sourcing and social media outreach.
