Description
Job Location: This position will be located at 1010 West Columbia Street in Farmington, MO.

These positions involve providing assistance to forensic clients with mental illnesses within a secure environment. Ideal candidates should possess compassion and demonstrate proficiency in working within a trauma-informed, recover-oriented setting. Below you will find a general overview of the job information:
- Provide direct care, treatment, and/or security of forensic psychiatric and/or sex offender clients in a secure setting
- Accountable for assisting clients with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, bed making, shaving, dressing, and other related tasks.
- Assist in checking vital signs, height, and weight as assigned
- Collect and maintain records of fluid intake and output
- Report on the condition of clients
- Observing, reporting, and recording changes in the physical condition, behavioral response, and emotional status of clients.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for client care and treatment activities.
- Reporting to work on time and as scheduled.
- Working overtime as needed to retain adequate staffing.
- May perform internal environment of care checks or perform some security related functions in a mental health care setting
- Requires heavy lifting and the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Base pay is $17.20 per hour with an additional $2.00 per hour (making it $19.20 per hour) for 2nd and 3rd shifts depending on scheduled hours.
Minimum Qualifications: -
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Ability to work with clients with physical or mental illness, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or the geriatric population
