Description

The Position

The City of Riverside is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Resources Analyst to fill one (1) vacancy in the Sewer Division, Collections Section of the Public Works Department. The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six (6) months.

Under general direction, the Wastewater Resources Analyst is to participate in wastewater resources planning, analysis, regulatory compliance auditing, training, and reporting; to perform computer systems planning, database development and data management; to conduct site inspections and sampling; to implement regulatory compliance programs as they apply to wastewater and storm water discharge, air quality, and waste solids program management; and to do related work as required.

Qualifications

Recruitment Guidelines:

Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in engineering, business, science, environmental science, or related field.

Experience: Two years of progressively responsible experience in wastewater resource or regulatory program planning, development and oversight, wastewater facilities operation, collection or discharge compliance. Demonstrated experience in simultaneously coordinating competing projects and activities across multiple disciplines.
