(Job #542796) Extended Education Specialist II, OLLI Program Coordinator, Hiring Range: $6,019 - $6,320. This is a full-time, benefited, exempt, 12-month pay plan permanent position with a one-year probationary period in CEEGE. Position Summary:

Under general supervision from the Director of Programs and Partnerships, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the development and administration of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program and classes. Working with the program advisory board, plans curriculum according to current trends and to enhance older adult interests; selects and oversees instructors, coordinators and presenters. Creates program publications, and manages member recruitment, outreach and retention. Building relationships with donors, volunteers, campus and community partners, and the public.

Provides strategic direction for financial sustainability. Performs a variety of special tasks and projects relative to the assigned area of responsibility. Provides lead work direction and administrative support for coordinators, and guidance to instructors, and other extended education programs, as needed. Serves as alternative site administrator for the Stewart Building.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

Equivalent to three years of experience in planning classes and curriculum for higher or extended education programs and including developing resources, budgets, marketing plans and liaison with the community.

Education:

Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university, preferably with courses in adult education and curriculum planning.
