Senior Financial Office Specialist (Customer Service Billing)

ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Senior Financial Office Specialist position. This position will be primarily responsible for:
- Generating and compiling monthly reports from various applications, including Excel
- Answering customer inquiries and resolving service-related issues in person, over the phone, and via email using strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity using a Billing system to assist customers with account inquiries and processing payments
- Balancing and counting cash drawers to ensure the accuracy of cash, checks, and credit card payments
- Scanning and filing completed inspection packets, fee quote packets, and refund adjustment packets
- Familiarity using Microsoft office, specifically Excel

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation and Experience: Equivalent to graduation from high school AND four (4) years of full-time accounting or financial office clerical experience. Professional level experience and/or education that has provided the skills and knowledge necessary to perform all job functions at this level may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Qualifying education and experience must be clearly documented in the "Education" and "Work Experience" sections of the application. Bilingual Skills: Preference may be given to candidates who are bilingual (English/Spanish).
Licensing and Certification: Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C Driver's License at time of appointment.
Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted.
Pre-Employment Drug Testing: Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.
