Lead Customer Service Representative Non-Supervisory Local Tax

HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

The Local Tax Team processes and responds to political subdivision and business inquiries regarding sales tax, vendors use tax, and consumers use tax distributions, E911 fee distribution, Medical and Adult Use Marijuana account balancing, and tax rate issues. Our vision is to provide every customer the best experience every time.

Top important responsibilities of this position:

• Process E911 returns and payments.

• Process Marijuana returns and payments.

• Process the monthly E911 distribution.

• Process balancing of Marijuana Accounts

• Respond to customer inquiries either by letter, email or phone call.

• Participate in cross education of job functions within the Local Tax section and also have the opportunity to learn job functions in other areas of the Taxation Division.
