A Sr. Business Process Analyst is available with the City of Fort Worth Police Department’s Program Support Division. This position will perform as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer and technical liaison for more complex business applications and as a project analyst. Administers and maintains more complex projects, systems and/or technical business processes. Provides user support and helps to identify customer needs and improve business processes.

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Administration, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Five (5) or more years of business experience and business analysis experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Candidate selected for hire must pass a Pre-Employment Criminal History fingerprint background check, a pre-employment polygraph examination, and meet Police Department hiring standards
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with/developing dashboards using tools such as Microsoft BI or other Business Intelligence software platforms
- Experience working with UKG systems (TeleStaff/Dimension) and PeopleSoft
- Experience in working with or supporting public safety software/technology, such as Records Management Systems (RMS) and/or Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems
The Sr. Business Process Analyst job responsibilities include: - Develops and implements data analysis strategies to solve complex business problems
- Creates and communicates insightful data visualizations to stakeholders
- Interpret department business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Coordinates the examination of data collected from different datasets to identify opportunities for enhancing departmental operations based on data-driven decision-making
- Develops tools and dashboards for the monitoring and analysis of performance and accuracy, setting and resetting goals as needed
- Designs and produces both standard and customized reports and summaries for statistical analysis and planning purposes
- Collaborates with end-users to discuss expectations, initiates the creation of business requirements documents, and participates in follow-up meetings to explore options and anticipated outcomes based on available data
- Conducts exploratory data analyses, formulates and tests working hypotheses, evaluates historical data, and identifies patterns
