What You'll Be DoingAre you an Economic Services program assistant or administrative coordinator that is ready to use your knowledge, skills and abilities to make your impact to build a better team? We are currently seeking an experienced Economic Services professional to support Senior and Adult Services team. As our new Program Assistant, you will report directly to the Senior & Adult Services Manager. This position's primary focus is supporting Senior & Adult Services programs with tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Look up new clients in State Host on Demand, once monthly - to ensure they are getting keyed and in in the system.
- Random sample 5027s
- Liaison to communicate with SSA
- Complete 5027s for contract agency guardianship vendors
- Reconcile purchase card receipts in Advantage for all Adult Services purchase card receipts in Advantage for all Adult Services purchase card holders
- Maintain and order supplies for Adult Services and use purchase card to make the supply purchases
- Assist with various projects
- Assist with scheduling interviews
- Request CCN and SIS numbers

The Basics (Required Education and Experience) - Associate's degree
- One year of job-related experience
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience) - Associate Degree in Arts or Science
- One year of experience working within Economic Services as a program coordinator or program assistant
- Experience coordinating activities for a specific program
- Proficient at communication both verbal and written
- Proficient in using the computer and other types of applications
How Will We Know You're 'The One'? - Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify problems, determine possible solutions, and actively work to resolve the issues
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments according to the needs of the agency
- Ability to manage data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to convey information verbally to individuals or groups to ensure the message is understood
- Ability to listen and respond appropriately to information from others
