Wake County Public Libraries is looking for part-time
Library Assistants at East Regional Library in both our Adult and Youth Services departments!

Schedule for Adult Services position:

Weeks 1 & 3
Sunday 1-5
Monday 5-9
Tuesday 2-6
Wednesday 5-9
Thursday off
Friday 2-6

Weeks 2 & 4
Friday off
Saturday 9-6 or 8-5

Schedule for the Youth Services position*:

Weeks 1 and 3:
Sunday: Off
Monday: Off
Tuesday: 5-9
Wednesday: 5-9
Thursday: 2-6
Friday: Off
Saturday: 8-5 or 9-6

Weeks 2 and 4:
Sunday: 1-5
Friday: 2-6
Saturday: Off

*Please note that Library Assistants hired into these positions must have a strong interest and willingness to learn children's programming

*Part-time Library Assistants generally work a combination of morning, afternoon, and evening hours with a regular Saturday and Sunday rotation (may vary by location)

Work Schedule: 20 hrs. per week, combo days, evenings, and regular weekend rotation

Hiring Range: 22.13 - 28.73

Emergency Service Worker Statement
