Position DescriptionProvides project management including adherence to budget, schedule and scope. Plans, schedules or coordinates projects activities to meet deadlines. Monitors project compliance. Coordinates the overall integration of the project. Supervises and directs project personnel; assigns duties and responsibilities.
Major/Essential FunctionsThe Mental Health Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of marketing initiatives that enhance the growth, image, and brand equity of mental health programs at TTUHSC. This position plays a key role in the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that support the Department of Psychiatry's objectives.
- Responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of projects that support the overall image and outreach of mental health programs at TTUHSC, including printed reports and collateral, website content updates, social media content coordination and community outreach.
- Works closely with the Vice President of Communications & Marketing to develop an annual mental health marketing strategy that aligns projects with the overall strategy of TTUHSC, External Relations, the Mental Health Initiative and the School of Medicine.
- Coordinates content gathering and sharing between mental health program leadership, the department web editor and the digital team to ensure content is updated in a timely manner and published according to best practices.
- Serves as the liaison between the Department of Psychiatry and external agencies and partners to assist in the definition and documentation of project vision, scope, objectives and timelines.
- Responsible for the execution of individual marketing projects and their respective budgets, including collateral development, promotional item ordering, community sponsorships, etc.
- This position is a full-time position and reports to the Vice President of Communications & Marketing. This position qualifies to work remote work. New employees will have a 90-day probationary period, at which time remote work will be discussed. Remote work performance will be reviewed quarterly and may be terminated at any time the arrangement is no longer in the best interest of the External Relations team and/or TTUHSC.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree plus three years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal seven years.
