Position DescriptionPerforms coordinative work in the business or administrative operation of a specific department or college. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a department as well as the monitoring operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise staff or student assistants.
Major/Essential FunctionsReporting to the AVP of External Relations, Dallas/Abilene, this valuable team member provides coordinative and administrative support specific to External Relations operations at the TTUHSC Dallas and Abilene campuses. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and supporting a range of departmental functions such as event planning, donor engagement, communications, and office management.
- Assist Director of External Relations in Dallas in identifying impactful stories for TTUHSC Communications & Marketing to share through media, social media, and internal communication channels.
- This role involves direct collaboration with campus leadership and external stakeholders, with an emphasis on advancing community and donor relations across both campuses.
- Work is performed under general supervision, with performance evaluated based on outcomes and effectiveness.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years.
