Position Description
This position is primarily responsible for compounding and dispensing medications to fill outpatient prescriptions written by physicians, dentists, and other qualified personnel, and for ensuring control of medications and pharmaceuticals within the Pharmacy. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Pharmacist.

Major/Essential Functions
The pharmacist provides outpatient prescriptions, sterile compounding, and investigational drug services.

Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy, and certification by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
One year of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
