Position DescriptionPerform operations research analyst job duties in Lubbock, TX. Extract, summarize, and compile data for reports and publications. Assist in creating new research studies and reviewing current research. Assist in developing Qualtrics surveys. Assist in developing survey or behavioral research studies. Assist with large scale surveys, interviews, and research. Assist with research study creation, research methods, data collection of public use data, data collection of experimental data, data manipulation, and data aggregation.
Major/Essential Functions- Reading, analyzing, and interpreting data sets;
- Data set limitations and methodologies;
- Conducting large scale surveys, interviews, and related research; and
- Extracting, summarizing, and compiling data for reports and publications.
Required QualificationsMaster's degree in Economics or closely-related field with an emphasis on data analysis.
Demonstrated knowledge of:
- Reading, analyzing, and interpreting data sets;
- Data set limitations and methodologies;
- Conducting large scale surveys, interviews, and related research; and
- Extracting, summarizing, and compiling data for reports and publications.
In accordance with Texas Executive Order GA-48 and applicable state or federal law, this position may involve access to, work on, or conduct research involving critical infrastructure. It will require background checks, including, but not limited to, criminal history and other security-related screenings. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of these checks.
