The Role at a Glance

The Employee Relations Specialist, under direction, is responsible for helping parties resolve disputes through mediation or negotiation of informal resolution. This position works directly with employees in the organization to explore and assist them in determining options to help resolve conflicts, problematic issues or concerns, and to bring systemic concerns to the attention of the organization for resolution. This position manages and investigates employee complaints and appeals. The specialist will develop, implement, and oversee current programs aimed at increasing employee satisfaction.

This position reports to the Employee Relations Manager.

Qualifications of the Role


Equivalency: Will consider an associate’s degree in a related field and six years of Employee Relations, investigations, and/or related experience or a high school diploma/GED with eight years of Employee Relations, investigations, and/or related experience.
