Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction, the Vice President - Production Operations is responsible for providing strategic and tactical oversight for the multidisciplinary, twenty-four hour per day activities of the Production Group including, but not limited to Potable Water Production consisting of operation of an Aquifer Storage and Recovery Facility, Desalination Facility, Groundwater Treatment Plant, approximately 200 groundwater wells, and all ground / elevated storage tanks and pump stations in the water distribution system; oversight of the Production Control Center; operation of the Recycled Water Distribution System; and Maintenance of water production / recycled water facilities, which includes mechanical, electrical and instrumentation and control. Serves as a member of the Executive Management Team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are primarily in an office environment with occasional field visits to project sites where there is heavy traffic, construction, rugged terrain and hazardous environmental conditions. Physical requirements include visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, walking or standing to perform the essential functions. May drive a company and/or personal vehicle.

May be required to work hours other than regular schedule such as nights and weekends.
