Job Location: This position will be located at 930 Wildwood Dr., Jefferson City, MO. Consideration may be given to surrounding areas based on the chosen applicant's location. This position is not eligible for remote work.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

• Work with the Office on Women’s Health team to establish and implement several maternal mortality prevention and detection programs and develop procedures, practices, and work plans.
• Monitor contractors' performance to ensure the successful implementation of maternal mortality prevention contracts.
• Provide technical assistance and training to contractors regarding: best practices for the variety of maternal mortality programs; training, policies and procedures, and reporting; and compliance with state and federal laws.
• Develop and implement a data collection process for the contractors.
• Prepare and develop grant applications and budgets for continued funding.
• Write policies and procedures for the successful implementation of the maternal mortality program.
• Implement special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years or more years of professional experience in public health, mental health, education, social services, public or business administration, health care, or a closely related field. (Relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for any deficiencies in the required education.)
• Expertise in working with diverse populations and stakeholders on complex subject matter.
• Possesses strong communication and organization skills.
• Experience using technology and a variety of computer programs (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, video-conferencing, and online survey platforms) for coordinating activities and project reporting.
• Experience in contract monitoring, developing contract deliverables, reviewing and preparing bid documents, budget development and budget tracking is preferred.
• Some travel will be required for conferences, trainings, and/or program oversight.
