The Job

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for an Assistant Hospital Administrator - Fiscal Services to manage and direct functions within ARMC’s Fiscal Services Division, including financial reporting, patient accounting and admissions, or revenue integrity. Ensure effective revenue management and accurate fiscal reporting, while assisting in the development and management of systems that support a healthy revenue cycle and precise financial data acquisition, recording, and analysis.

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation which includes verification of employment history and education as well as a physical exam and drug screening.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet both the EDUCATIONand EXPERIENCE requirements:

EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree in business/hospital/public administration, accounting, or a closely related field.

AND

EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of professional financial management experience in a acute care hospital, which includes responsibility ensuring compliance with associated regulatory and accreditation standards.

Substitution: A master’s degree in business/hospital/public administration, accounting, or a closely related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of the required experience.

Desired Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in business administration, Hospital or Public Administration, Accounting, or a closely related field, with at least five (5) years of experience in an acute care Revenue Cycle Department. The candidate should have expertise in hospital finance, patient accounting, and revenue integrity, with proven leadership and management skills to oversee complex financial operations accurately and efficiently. A solid understanding of healthcare financial processes, compliance, and reimbursement practices is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills to support accurate reporting and effective collaboration across departments.
