What you’ll do: The Assistant Director of Quality Management is vital to the functioning of the organization. This person provides healthcare quality leadership to three campuses, two adult and one child psychiatric facilities. The individual in this position should have experience with risk management and emergency management activities for health care facilities. This person educates the organization on Joint Commission (TJC) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) standards and how to incorporate those standards into daily practice. This individual assists with strategic planning for the department, facility and organization. This person ensures the implementation of the organization’s policies and procedures related to ongoing monitoring and improvement of quality care; maintains current knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards; and works with facility administration to maintain regulatory and accrediting body standards. The ideal candidate would have a background in Tableau creator experience and advanced knowledge of Access.
All you need for success: A Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Pharmacology, Nursing, Education, Business, Public or Health Care Administration, or a closely related field; and, four or more years of professional experience in health care safety, data analytics, regulatory compliance, supervisory/team leader, project management, or clinical experience, or a closely related area. Previous emergency management, risk management, strategic leadership, and performance improvement experience preferred.
