Comes with hands-on experience in policy, budgeting, financial analysis, or fiscal planning (e.g. governmental, nonprofit, corporate).
Can dive into spreadsheets, forecasts, and financial systems with ease, transforming data into clear insight and actionable recommendations.
Communicates well—able to translate technical numbers into compelling narratives for stakeholders, management, or the public.
Thinks strategically, but can also roll up their sleeves and dig into the details when needed.
Is flexible, collaborative, and thrives in a dynamic public sector environment where priorities shift and every project matters.
Core Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and monitor departmental and capital budgets.
Conduct financial analyses, trend forecasts, and variance reports.
Assist with midyear and year-end reviews, and recommend adjustments.
Support development of budgets, policies, guidelines, and financial standards.
Liaise with departments, leadership, auditors, and external partners to gather data, clarify assumptions, and resolve issues.
