Description

Higginsville Habilitation Center is recruiting for a Treatment Supervisor in our HOPE program who will be a part of a highly effective team that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports individuals receiving 24/7 services.

Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer programs, and be willing to travel on occasion.

Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, evaluating individual habilitation and/or treatment plans for individual, and writing support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. facilitating and leading or delegating leadership for both individual plan and program plan meetings. Provide training to professional and direct care staff. Monitor ICF regulations and guidelines to ensure services are provided in accordance to those guidelines. Ability to assign, direct and review the work of staff involved in the implementation of habilitation and behavior intervention programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
• Experience supervising, scheduling, and working with teams.

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a human service field.

Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Schedule:

Scheduled to work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with Saturday and Sunday as days off, with on-call responsibilities at other times.
