Job Description Student Worker - Texas Task Force 1 $14.00 per hour 2 Positions to FilledLocation: Gateway - College Station, TXThe Role at a GlanceThe Undergraduate Student's areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, assisting business office staff with tasks essential to business continuity. Must be willing to work additional hours if requested during Task Force deployments. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multi-tasking.
Qualifications of the Role:- High School Diploma or GED, and current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
- One year in an office environment to include customer service experience.
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Essential Tasks, Duties and Percentages:Special Projects - 30%Special projects will be assigned as needed and may include but are not limited to assisting with the following:
- Asset inventory and filing system set up
- Updating retention database
- Process improvement and development
Filing System Management - 20%- Scanning, copying, preparing, organizing, and maintaining business office files.
- Properly destroying all out of date documents and files.
Purchasing Assistance - 20%- Receipt reconciliation with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Purchase order research.
- Update the PO log when items have been processed for payment.
Collection of Information, Data Entry and Review - 20%- Review of travel reimbursements for accuracy.
- Light auditing of reimbursements, checking for unallowable items and verifying totals.
- Collect, review and total mileage logs.
- Maintain various business office data bases.
Customer Service and Reception - 10%- Maintain various business office data bases.
