Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARYThe Supervisor-Operations Support is responsible for overseeing daily operational support activities for Field Operations (Distribution & Collections) to include, monitoring, coordinating, and scheduling service contracts and associated services, overseeing time and attendance processing, and monitoring and tracking departmental expenses. This position also develops, generates, and maintains customized and periodic reports used to analyze and evaluate business process measures, work requirements, and budgeting resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Supervises, selects, develops, trains and evaluates personnel; initiates corrective action as necessary.
- Researches, analyzes, and manages budget expenses for material contracts to include ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all Service Center purchases.
- Ensures resources/materials are readily available for efficient maintenance operations by coordinating and scheduling service contracts and related services.
- Provides effective coordination and administration of COSA Row Permit process.
- Recommends, develops, implements, and updates departmental practices and procedures.
- Supervises and ensures the accurate and timely processing of time and attendance data for Distribution & Collection maintenance personnel; tracks vacancies and filled positions and oversees uniform contract.
- Develops, generates, and maintains customized and periodic reports used to evaluate business process measures, work requirements, and budgeting resources and briefs management on findings.
- Forecasts, allocates and monitors the financial resources for Distribution & Collection (including Support Services); this includes the annual budget process and monthly budget variance report analysis.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and public relations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
DECISION MAKING- This position has twelve direct reports.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration or related field from an institution accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
- Five years' operational support and/or administrative experience (in an operations environment), including three years' experience supervising personnel.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, computerized maintenance management system and financial software.
- Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONSWorking conditions are mainly in an office and field environment.
May be required to work hours other than regular schedule.
