Job Location: This position will be domiciled at the St. Louis Regional Office

In this role you will engage with community partners to identify unmet needs and collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems. You will serve as the face of the Division locally with individuals, families, funding and service partners, law enforcement, school districts, local businesses, and other community stakeholders. In this position you will be able to influence change, and work with a talented group of people all motivated to make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities.

Role Description

This position is responsible for authorizing services, determining eligibility, building capacity within a network of community providers, collaborating with specialized teams to oversee provider quality and ensure the health and safety of individuals served by the system. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Demonstrate leadership and provide supervision to professional, technical, and frontline staff. Collaborate with key partners to develop and implement short and long-range plans that meet established objectives and contribute to the overall goals and mission of the Division. Clear and effective communicator. Manage Regional Office budget, interpret and enforce regulatory requirements. Must be able to interpret, analyze, and use data to measure performance and make decisions. Strong problem solver. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.

Job Duties



Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and seven years of professional experience in mental health, education, social services, public administration, or a closely related area with at least five years of that experience being in a leadership capacity directing programs and services for persons with developmental disabilities.

Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
