Position DescriptionAnalyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.
Major/Essential FunctionsRepresents the office in a professional and courteous manner at student orientations and events. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from students, parents, and staff of HSC.
Manage incoming phone calls from students, parents, and staff, answer questions, troubleshoot problems, and handle complaints or difficult calls. Ability to handle heavy phone volume at times in a professional manner.
Daily use of various computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, Banner Student, and Cognos.
Compose and respond to routine emails, reports and correspondence to students, parents, and staff of HSC effectively and professional.
Effectively take payments and process payments from student and parents. Recording them in the system and processing a cash receipt.
Manage and complete multiple assignments within established deadlines, and organize work effectively and prioritize daily workload.
Utilize internal system to record and document incoming cash and payments for university and department.
Assist and backup office staff during heavy volume times or when staff is out.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in job related field plus two (2) years responsible related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal six (6) years.
