Job Summary:

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the City’s environmental, health, and safety, policies and procedures. This role assists in verifying and achieving compliance with applicable local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations. The technician will perform both environmental and safety site inspections, report safety hazards, assist with remedying environmental issues, and support training programs to enhance environmental and safety compliance and initiatives for City of Loveland operations.

The salary range for this position is $22.77 - $30.74 per hour with a hiring range of $22.77 - $26.76, depending on qualifications and experience. This opportunity will be available to applicants until Tuesday November 14, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. M.S.T.

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician to help the City in maintaining compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The best candidate has some knowledge of various environmental regulations as well as skills in monitoring and collecting and processing samples from water, soil, and air. This candidate is flexible with the ability to manage multiple priorities with an outcome of producing quality, accurate, prompt, and reliable work. The EHS Technician requires skills in accountability, collaboration, courtesy and kindness, integrity, and safety awareness. While working with the City’s Environmental Compliance Administrator and Safety Officer, the EHS Technician must maintain relationships with City employees to understand operations and collaborate to achieve compliance. Hybrid Remote Work Eligibility

This position may be eligible for up to two days per week working remotely. Probationary employees (within the first six months of employment) may not be eligible. Subject to change based on business needs and performance expectations.
