Description

A position in the Missouri National Guard Facilities Division is more than a job, it's a calling. Our staff supports Soldiers that protect and aid Missourians citizens by taking care of training and support facilities.

Job Location: This position will be located at the Ike Skelton Training Site, Jefferson City, MO.

• Serve as the Chapter 8 Contracting assistant and alternate point of contact coordinating requirements with the CFMO Contracting Specialist. Serve as the alternate point of contact for purchasing and assists the CFMO Contracting Specialist in processing Chapter 34 purchase requirements.

• Under the supervision of the CFMO Contracting Specialist, supports MONG maintenance and construction requirements by developing and executing Job Order Contracts Releases (Under $300K), Under $100K Contracts, and Under $50K contracts. Drafts invitation for bids; identify prospective bidders, forward the Invitation to Bid package to prospective bidders; serve as the alternate point of contract for inquiries; and prepares draft bid addenda.

• Review work orders and NGB Form 420s to understand project requirements.

Complete project requests, commitments, enter contract information and update progress including change orders, and process invoices in e-

BUILDER software. Conduct and/or participates in formal bid openings; perform detailed analysis of bids; and recommend contract award.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Procurement Associate or Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

• Valid Missouri Operator (Driver’s) License

• Ability to obtain & maintain a Tier 1 (security) investigation supporting issuance of a Command Access Card (CAC).

• Ability to make mathematical calculations.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the section and with Maintenance Managers and other customers, as well as Facility Management-Design and Construction (FMDC) partners.
