Job AnnouncementThe City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as
Assistant Pool Managers (part-time, temporary, non-benefited). This position is at the discretion of the department director and is scheduled to work morning, afternoon, and evening programming shifts, including weekends.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

Who we are looking for Chandler Aquatics is seeking a responsible, self-motivated, organized Assistant Pool Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone with good decision-making skills regarding employee scheduling, training, and coaching employees, prioritizing daily work assignments, and performing daily duties efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications • 1 year of High School; and
• 1 year of experience as a lifeguard and swimming instructor; and
• A nationally recognized Lifeguard Certification; and
• Swim Lesson Instructor Certification within 2 months of hire/promotion; and
• A valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired Qualifications • A High School Diploma or GED
• A Lifeguard Instructor Certification
The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a driving record check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment.
