Performs skilled and semi-skilled work under the direction of a Stormwater Team Supervisor, serving on a work crew. Work includes maintaining storm drains, inlet structures, erosion control structures, water conveyance systems including under ground piping, open channels (natural & improved), green infrastructure, detention and retention ponds, system inspection and verification. Works to achieve and promote the City's values of vision, creativity, communication, cooperation/collaboration, professionalism, and accountability.


Experience & Qualification Guidelines: Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is acceptable. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:

Experience: One to two years of experience in construction, infrastructure maintenance, natural resource management, landscape maintenance, horticulture or related field preferred. Must be at least 18 years old.

Education: High School diploma/GED.

Licenses and Certificates: Class B (CDL) commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement within six months of employment. Work Zone Safety Certification, flagging, confined space, shoring, snow fighting, and erosion control training within one year of hire.
