HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

This evening position works with a team focused on opening and sorting income tax returns and documents in a timely manner. We are team-oriented, goal driven, and value strong communication and data-entry skills. An experienced problem-solver with good attendance habits and attention to detail will do well in this position. You will gain satisfaction from assisting Missouri’s taxpayers. DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

• Review incoming mail for necessary information on paperwork, forms, or attachments tax

• Complete data entry tasks

• Research and error correct documents to ensure timely processing

• Correspond with both internal and external customers about DOR processes relevant to taxation

• Direct or provide assistance to taxpayers with filing issues and promote electronic filing options, via phone and email correspondence

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Proficient typing and computer skills
