Job Description:

Business Intelligence Consultant

Purpose:

Under general supervision, is responsible for utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools to help business teams maintain and drive improvement in business results.

Join our team as a Business Intelligence Consultant! In this critical role, you’ll help transform data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across City operations. You’ll work closely with the Benefits Teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver dashboards and reports that improve performance and enhance the employee experience.

The Business Intelligence Consultant will troubleshoot data inconsistencies, optimize system performance, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of information used for strategic decisions.

Your responsibilities will also include testing BP solutions, managing data integrations between external carriers, and providing training to help users leverage data effectively. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that information is accessible, reliable, and aligned with business needs.

Salary Range:

$ 71,630 (Minimum) - $90,980.00 (Midpoint), depending on qualifications and experience.

Office Location:

One Texas Center, 505 Barton Spring Road, Ste. 600, Austin, Texas 78704

Days and Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Hours may vary based on operational needs. Alternative schedules and remote work options are available; however, the position requires at least 40% in-office each week. A flexible hybrid schedule may be offered after successful completion of the probationary period.

Driving Requirement:

If you are selected for this position and meet the Driver Safety Standards in the City of Austin Driver Safety Program, you may drive when necessary to multiple locations as part of your regular job duties. Otherwise, you are responsible for getting to and from these locations.
