The City of Fort Worth Water Department is seeking an experienced Regulatory/Environmental Administrator to play a key leadership role in shaping the future of water quality, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship for a growing community. As part of the Strategic Operations Division and reporting to the Assistant Water Director, this position serves as a critical link between policy, regulation, and day-to-day operational excellence.

In this role, you will lead environmental regulatory and legislative efforts, ensure compliance with evolving federal and state requirements, and direct the operations of the Environmental Central Laboratory. The Administrator leads the largest team within Strategic Operations, overseeing both the Regulatory and Central Laboratory groups with a combined staff of 40 employees and two direct reports.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a complex regulatory environment, brings deep knowledge of environmental compliance and laboratory operations, and is passionate about developing teams, building collaboration, and delivering results that protect public health and the environment.
