Duluth Public Schools is seeking a 0.6 FTE Medical Careers teacher for the upcoming school year. Courses taught may include medical terminology, firstaid, emergency medical responder, fire science, EMS clinicals/work-based learning, and others. The programhas a brand-new ambulance and EMS lab. The teacher will also advise the school's HOSA program. Candidatesmust have a current HSE medical careers teaching license and a relevant industrycertification/license, degree, and industry experience related to health science. Additionally, the work-basedlearning (WBL) endorsement is preferred, but not required. ISD 709 provides mentoring to all new, early-career teachers and free paths to teacher licensure in medical careers for those in need."

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Valid CTE Medical Careers teaching licensure
