A Contract Compliance Specialist job is available with the City of Fort Worth Development Services Contract Management Office. The Development Services Department works with residents, businesses, developers, and other stakeholders to achieve the City's vision of becoming the most livable and best managed city in the country. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, finance or a related field and three years of experience preparing and monitoring federal grants or federally funded community programs
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of Accela Automation, Adobe Acrobat, PeopleSoft Financials and Microsoft Suite
- Strong knowledge of Public Works procurement policies, procedures, rules and regulations
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting and auditing procedures
The Contract Compliance Specialist's job responsibilities include: - Reviewing site plans, plats, and other construction plans as they relate to the Policy for the Installation of Infrastructure Agreements
- Prepare and negotiate redlines for Encroachment(s), Maintenance, Unified Sign(s) and applicable amendments
- Serves as liaison between the development community, third-party consultant(s), and city staff to obtain appropriate documentation, ensure criteria are met per ordinance, initiate and review invoice/collect payment for applicable development fees
- Contract monitoring and oversight throughout their entire life cycle (e.g. contract execution, amendments, renewals, change orders, etc.)
- Assisting with drafting and routing contracts, renewals, and amendments
- Assisting in the management of our contract, tracking database and related information; and the improvement and maintenance of the contract filing system
- Reviewing revenue, expenditures, and balances for all service contracts and analyzing expenditures to ensure transactions are accurate and comply with contract specifications
- Compiles and analyzes data for audit; present findings; report discrepancies; and make recommendations for corrective action
- Assists in the development of General Fund budgets and establish appropriation of funding through the budget process and/or through appropriation ordinance
- Scheduling and attending meetings with relevant stakeholders to resolve project friction points to keep the development process moving
