The INC may also serve as a point of contact for breastfeeding support outside of normal business hours.
Infant Nutrition Counselors are trained through the WIC program and work under the guidance and oversight of the
Lactation Educator and Counselor classification. INCs are skilled peer counselors who often draw upon their own breastfeeding experiences to provide relatable support, encouragement, and practical guidance to participating mothers.
The eligible list established from this recruitment will be used to fill full-time regular, part-time, limited-term or extra-help positions as vacancies occur or the need arises. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Experience: Six months experience of breastfeeding an infant.
