Position Description
The Department of Immunology & Molecular Microbiology (IMM) in the TTUHSC School of Medicine seeks to recruit a funded investigator to fill a 12-month tenure track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in any area of Immunology and Microbiology that will support the growth of the department. The department is currently comprised of eight full-time, 2 emeritus and 22 adjunct graduate faculty members. The institution has made a substantial investment in IMM including the recruitment of a new funded faculty, remodeling of existing spaces to make state of the art modular laboratories and commitment to provide nationally competitive start up packages. The research in IMM is currently funded through grants from the National Institutes of Health, US Army, Horizon 2020/European Union, the Welcome Trust, the CH Foundation, the RIGHT Fund and Gates Foundation. This position is part of a series of positions in IMM, with a primary appointment in the School of Medicine, state-supported salary, and a concurrent appointment in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences that affords opportunity to recruit and mentor graduate students from the Biomedical Sciences and Biotechnology graduate programs. Salary and lab set-up package are nationally competitive.

Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.
