Description
Job SummaryUnder general supervision, completes administrative work and provides clerical support and customer service to patrons of the Mohave County Law Library.
Temporary/On Call; Up to 14 hours per week or as needed, days and hours may vary.
The position will provide essential support to the Law Library and will assist the Court Administration with clerical tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and P-card responsibilities.
This is a non-benefit eligible "at-will" (unclassified) position.

Provides on-site assistance to users of the Mohave County law library; greets visitors and determines general area(s) of need; responds to inquiries and requests for information and/or assistance; identifies potential sources/resources for information; provides information, assistance and support without providing legal advice. Responds to inquiries within the parameters of office policies and procedures. Works with parties in person, via e-mail, mail and/or on the phone; answers calls, determines need/appropriate resource. Responds to requests for information. Performs clerical support and assistance as required.
Provide coverage, as needed, for Law Librarian.
Performs other functions as assigned. May provide clerical assistance to the Finance Unit.
Minimum Qualifications- Requires a high school diploma or GED AND one (1) year clerical, office and/or library experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of:- English, grammar, spelling, and mathematics.
- Filing and information systems and retention/destruction schedules.
- Standard computer use and associated software applications including spreadsheets and word processing.
Skills:- Operation of modern office equipment (i.e. personal computers and keyboards, fax machines, telephones, adding machines, calculators, etc.)
Abilities:- Interpret and apply technical and departmental information as to complete work assignments.
- Effectively communicate in a courteous and professional manner with those encountered in the course of work.
- Understand and carry out simple to complex written and oral instructions.
- Perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Work independently and/or in a team to complete routine tasks or special projects.
Mohave County's PTO is compliant with A.R.S. 23-371 requirements.
Salary:
$19.13 - $20.29 Hourly
