Description

This role integrates contract administration, fiscal analysis, program budgeting, and contract and procurement compliance for programs that improve services for young children and their families. The role and requires effective relationship-building with both internal partners and external partners, effective problem-solving skills, and keen political acumen. The position manages internal and external grants, contracts, and assigned program budgets, ensuring effective contract administration and compliance for publicly funded systems work. The role also develops recommendations for management regarding the portfolio.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. Additional experience and/or education can be substituted to meet typical qualifications. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in contract, administration and development, compliance and budgeting, and completion of a bachelor's degree in public or business administration, accounting, or a closely related field.

Additional relevant work experience may be substituted to meet the college coursework/bachelor's degree standard.
