Position Description
Performs skilled mechanical and/or analytical duties in the coordination and completion of projects. Work is performed under general guidelines using established procedures and evaluated on results obtained. May supervise subordinate employees.

Major/Essential Functions

• Supervise Phlebotomist staff.
• Schedule patients for laboratory services and EKG.
• Collect various specimens, with CMP's being fasting. Giving critical lab values or cultures to ordering physician.
• Provide HIV post counseling for CID department and complete HIV pre-release testing.
• Works with phlebotomist to maintain laboratory cleanliness in accordance with ACA standards
• Maintains laboratory licensing and credentials to ensure the lab is in compliance with operating standards as stated within policy.
• Maintains supplies, and lab equipment, & reporting non-functioning equipment to proper person as found.

Required Qualifications
High school or equivalent and four years' experience. Additional job related education may substitute for required experience on a year for year basis.
