Specialty Court Clinician (Part-Time, 20 Hours/Week)
Help change lives at the intersection of behavioral health and the justice system.
We're seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled Specialty Court Clinician to join our team in Greenfield, MA.
As a key member of the multidisciplinary court team, you'll conduct clinical assessments, provide treatment recommendations, connect participants with community resources, and help shape individualized plans that promote recovery. If you're passionate about substance use treatment, trauma-informed care, and making a meaningful impact within the justice system, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct clinical screenings, comprehensive psychosocial assessments, and treatment planning for Emerging Adult Court participants.
- Provide recommendations regarding appropriate levels of care and connect participants to community-based treatment and recovery supports.
- Collaborate closely with judges, probation officers, attorneys, and other court stakeholders as an integral member of the Emerging Adult Court team.
- Educate court personnel on clinical issues related to substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and recovery.
- Build strong relationships with community providers to expand treatment and support options for participants.
- Engage participants and their families to encourage treatment participation and long-term recovery.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and stakeholder collaborations.
- Provide testimony to the court regarding participant progress when necessary.
- Maintain an on-site presence in court approximately 20 hours per week during regular court hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Independent Massachusetts licensure ( LICSW, LMHC)
- Three to five years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders.
- Experience working with justice-involved adults or emerging adults.
- Knowledge of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented treatment practices.
- Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Familiarity with the Massachusetts specialty court system or collaborative criminal justice settings.
Part time - 20 hours per week
