Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Ground Up Superintendent - Westchester to lead ground-up retail construction projects throughout Westchester County and the surrounding NY Metro area. This individual will oversee projects from sitework through turnover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and subcontractor performance on fast-paced retail developments. Client Details Our client is a well-established retail general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering ground-up and renovation projects for national retailers, shopping centers, mixed-use developments, and commercial clients. They have a robust pipeline of work throughout New York and offer long-term stability, repeat clientele, and opportunities for career advancement. Description As a Ground Up Superintendent - Westchester, you will: Manage day-to-day field operations on ground-up retail construction projects. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain project schedules. Oversee site safety and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Conduct daily and weekly project meetings. Review construction drawings, specifications, and schedules. Monitor project quality and ensure work is completed to company standards. Coordinate inspections, permits, and project closeout activities. Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and consultants to resolve field issues. Maintain project documentation, reports, and site logs. Profile A successful Ground Up Superintendent - Westchester should have: 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor. Proven experience delivering ground-up commercial or retail construction projects. Strong understanding of sitework, foundations, structural systems, and interior finishes. Ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills. Experience working on projects throughout Westchester County and the NYC Metro area is a plus. Job Offer Competitive base salary - up to 170k Annual performance bonus.
